Best Natural Hair Wash and Go Routine

Best Natural Hair Wash and Go Routine

These days, what is better than simply running to your local Target and actually finding all your needed household items and toiletries? How about, being able to achieve THE perfect “Wash and Go” before doing the Target run? Well, reality is...the wash n go routine is indeed a process, but that’s ok, you got this, and we are here to help you get there.

Find the Right Wash and Go Products

As always, it's important to start with products that not only help you achieve your style, but products that are also good for your hair. Rucker Roots products are full of natural ingredients like Aloe Vera, Avocado, White Birch Bark and more. The GTC (ginger, turnip, carrot) collection contains all natural hair care products  assist with cleansing, without stripping your hair of its natural oils, while also stimulating healthy hair growth.

How to Achieve the Perfect Wash and Go Routine

To achieve the perfect Wash n Go, you’ll want to start with clean hair. Use our Smoothing Sulfate-Free Shampoo to wash and remove product build up, then on soaking wet hair follow with our Detangling Conditioner. Our hair cannot...and I mean CANNOT get enough moisture. After your wash routine you then will want to apply our Daily Leave-In Conditioner to detangle and help get your locks ready for all other products.
It’s best to work in smaller sections, to ensure you are coating each curl evenly and applying enough product to each strand. Separation is key.... detangle, divide and conquer Sis! During this process if there is ever a section of your hair that begins to feel dry use a spray bottle to re-damp that section. Do not detangle hair while dry...I repeat...DO NOT detangle hair while dry! Finally, it’s time to set your style with what else other than our Define and Stretch Curl Custard. You’ll want to apply this cream from the roots to the ends of your hair, making sure each strand is coated. To finish, you can air dry, diffuse, or use a hooded dryer, whichever is more convenient for you and viola....honey you are ready to go!
