Meet one of our founders, Ellen Rucker Sellers! She is a hard-working perfectionist, proud mother, and Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine.

In 2015, Ellen and her sisters launched a multi-cultural hair care line, Rucker Roots, which was featured in their reality series “Love Thy Sister” on WeTV. Rucker Roots has been growing tremendously. Ellen and her sisters have successfully been working on their brand, Rucker Roots, attending both the Bronner Brothers Hair Show in Atlanta, GA and Premiere Hair Show in Orlando, FL. The brand launched in Sally Beauty in 2018 and Target In 2019.

Cultivating multi-cultural hair products is a passion of Ellen and her sisters. They have a deep appreciation for natural hair care products and the value of family and the importance of their heritage and strong roots.

Not only does Rucker Roots create great products, but we also use natural and high-quality ingredients. Our products are Sulfate Free, Paraben Free, and utilize No Mineral Oils, No Artificial Colors, and No Petroleum. Rucker Roots is infused with nutrients and vitamins essential for strong, lustrous hair.

Ellen and her sisters have worked hard to gain traction for their brand, and to bring high-quality products to the market that are meant for a wider range of hair types. Their success helps bring products to customers with hair-types that are not as well represented in the market.
